ANOTHER CHANCE TO BUILD...STRATEGICALLY
Sir Winston Churchill said it best,“However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.”
NABWIC’s results are speaking for themselves. Following our January strategic meeting, we are seeing families join the organization to receive the access to connections, education, and resources to continue to grow. They are growing their profits, growing individually and growing their businesses. On June 29, we will have another opportunity to step back and take a look at the results, along with our strategic vision.
Elements of our NABWIC strategic direction include our vision, mission, plans, and actions. The vision of the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC) is to build lasting strategic partnerships with first rate organizations and individuals that will provide ground breaking and innovative solutions for Black Women in construction and their respective communities.
The NABWIC vision drives the strategic direction of our organization for generations to come. In this issue we will share the results of a strategic decision to partner with the Detroit community in bringing their first annual Building Sustainable Communities to Michigan.View Photos.
Our strategic direction requires that we know what we want to accomplish, have faith in our achievements, and the persistence to achieve our goals in support of our membership and the communities and clients we serve. To this end we look forward to another strategic look at our organization as we seek to build sustainable family businesses, while building a pipeline for the future in the construction industry. We are the new face of construction. During this strategic session, every area of our organization is being analyzed. This includes our processes and systems to determine the value add to our membership.
NABWIC is powerful and unstoppable. With this potential, as we move forward, we can continue to build strategic partnerships as we become the new face and voice of construction for our members, a few of which are listed below. We welcome our May and June members to NABWIC. Thanks for joining with us in building our strategic vision.
