June Newsletter: THE WAKE-UP CALL FOR WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION
MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER AND CHAIR
THE WAKE-UP CALL FOR WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, whom shall I send? Who will speak for us? Then I said, ``Here I am, send me." Isaiah 6:8

The definition of a wake-up call is a person or thing that causes people to become fully alert to an unsatisfactory situation, and to take action to remedy it.

I believe that the Supreme Court overturn of Roe vs Wade, is a wake-up call for all women in construction to look inside and ask what can you do individually and collectively to resolve the problem. To move forward with purpose to protect women’s rights, and to understand that you have the ability to achieve the object of your desire internally, and externally in the construction industry.

As we build our professional careers and businesses, we must answer the wake-up call. As in the words of Isaiah, the question is being asked, who shall speak for us?

Will you say, "Here I am send me?"

As a national organization, we are answering the call by taking our voices to Washington DC in September 2022. Please join us!
